Lee Ann Ward was born and raised in the
small fishing community of Bayou La Batre, AL.
She graduated from Alba High School, where
she was a majorette, an Azalea Trail Maid
(Google it if you've never heard of it; it's cool)
and loved to read about anything she could
get her hands on! She attended Faulkner
College and Auburn University and has a
journalism/mass communications degree.
Lee Ann worked as a journalist and in
telecommunications, but her passion has
always been fiction writing. She is a wife and
mother, and a true Southern Belle (yes, the
azaleas above are from her yard).
When she's not writing, Lee Ann enjoys
power walking and aerobics, reading, singing,
and "being a girlie-girl"--gotta have those
manicures and pedicures.
